GFW2015 at Maxwell’s: The Bands

24 Mar 2015

*UPDATE: Due to a last minute schedule change, there’s been a change in our lineup. We’re happy to announce the Rob Nicholas Band will be joining us!

The 7th-annual Concert to Benefit Global Fund for Women will once again be held at Maxwell’s Tavern in Hoboken. We are thrilled to be back at this historic location. Completely redesigned with a brand new stage and sound system, this room is a great place to see a show.

Taking place on Saturday April 11 2015, the show will feature performances by Rob Nicholas Band, clueLess, Sylvana Joyce & The Moment, and The Back Room Deal. And be sure to come early for dinner.

As usual, you don’t want to miss this show. So spread the word and help us rock out for a really great cause.

Hosted by Stephen Bailey, organized by Nelson Pla and presented by Clueless Events, the GFW Benefit Concerts continue to bring awareness to — and raise money for — the work of Global Fund for Women.

Global Fund for Women is an international network committed to a world of equality and social justice. Founded in 1987, this nonprofit organization defends women’s rights by making grants to support women’s groups. They promote the economic security, health, safety, education and leadership of women and girls worldwide.

The Bands:

Rob Nicholas Band 8:15
It’s shorts wearin’, sandal tappin’, feel good music on the heart of the city.

At the core are brothers Nelson and Joe Pla. Surrounded by local music heroes and special guests, they rock a set of unique originals and classic interpretations.

Sylvana Joyce & The Moment 10:15
Sylvana Joyce is an absolute force of nature. She needs to be seen to be believed…She is a general. She is an emperor.
